Job Description:

AECOM is hiring a Senior Program Manager to deliver integrated project management services to manage risks and influence others to deliver successful AECOM Transportation Projects. Candidates must have strong technical capability, excellent communication and project management skills, and be willing to take on new challenges, as well as, having significant skills and experience in the leadership and management. As a Project Manager developing and leading a multi-functional project management consultancy team within projects of different disciplines and complexities, you will have hands-on experience of working with client teams in a collaborative and integrated manner.
Responsibilities:

Establish robust processes and procedures to manage the project, in consultation and engagement with AECOM Regional Business Lines and AECOM Market Sector Leaders;
Establish and maintain a professional project management team capable of delivering the required services to the client;
Facilitate effective planning of the works within the project team;
Deliver necessary periodic project reports, to allow AECOM Transportation Leadership to direct the project appropriately;
Deliver information regarding changes and delays that have impacted the project on a period by period basis;
Ensuring all company safety, quality, environmental, commercial and project management procedures are followed as relevant to tasks undertaken;
Responsible for driving the growth, strategy and sale of AECOM's services to the Transits sector, to include key strategic customers and partners;
Drawing on technical expertise, directs the development of capture plans that conform to the business development strategy and technical capabilities;
Defines and mitigates risks and commercial terms. Negotiates favorably contract terms and conditions, manages achievement of cost of sales, gross margin, and other financial and business goals

Experience/Skills Required:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field;
Professional Engineer or Professional Registration;
10+ years of public and/or private sector transportation industry experience with extensive market knowledge and client relationships in the Central Region, including the Chicago/Midwest metro area;
Experience in Design-Build project development and delivery would be an asset;
