AECOM's network of talented professionals supports public and private transportation clients across the State of Maryland and the region. We build on our extensive knowledge to plan, design, and manage transportation systems, and restore or replace aging systems and facilities. As the successful Project Manager your role will require furnishing of construction management services and oversight of various systems engineering projects at the direction of the Manager of Systems and Equipment
Engineering to include but not limited to the following functions:
- Provide support on construction policies, procedures and documentation.
- Provide systems engineering support for various MTA systems projects in the areas Rolling Stock and Infrastructure .
- Provide presentations, cost analysis, conceptual designs, equipment specifications and schedule support as needed. Coordinate with MTA systems construction managers and various government agencies.
- Insure complete systems designs, construction and modifications.
- Provide support to insure installed systems provide for safe operations through transit stations.
- Provide follow up technical support to construction management team during all phases of design and construction to include specification/bid support, design, construction, field verification, testing, cutover, contract documentation, and closeout. Contracts and Claims Contract Closeout
Requirements:
- BS Engineering and a minimum 10 year's experience in the following:
- Rolling stock and Infrastructure (to include the procurement and rehabilitation of rail cars, equipment re-builds, cosmetic refurbishment and engineering upgrades of rail cars to improve vehicle reliability)
- Project Management Contracts Management
