Job Description:  Responsibilities:


  • Performs  difficult  and  responsible  professional  engineering  work  related  to  water  and  power  facilities,  including  conducting  engineering  studies  and preparing  reports,  designs,  calculations,  cost  estimates,  and  specifications.
  • Directs technical activities of and manages design firms and others engaged in engineering  projects  in  connection with the planning, design, construction and start-up/commissioning  of systems and facilities related to water supply and hydropower engineering, including but not  limited  to  powerhouse  rehabilitations,  high  voltage  switchyard/substation upgrade,  transmission/distribution  lines,  RTU/PLC  replacement,  protective relays, instrumentation and control.
  • Provides design and design support during construction and the commissioning/closeout project phases.
Qualifications:


  • Minimum Five (5) years verifiable professional electrical engineering work experience 
  • BS Electrical Engineering
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California
  • Certificate of OSHA 10-hr training.
  • Proof of a training on NFPA 70E Arc Flash Course.
Location:

  • Candidate must be willing to commute to Moccasin, California on a daily basis and report to a client office. 
  • Costs of commuting will be factored in to base pay during pay negotiations. 
  • Preferable candidate from Modesto or Stockton areas.
