Responsibilities:
Performs difficult and responsible professional engineering work related to water and power facilities, including conducting engineering studies and preparing reports, designs, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications. Directs technical activities of and manages design firms and others engaged in engineering projects in connection with the planning, design, construction and start-up/commissioning of systems and facilities related to water supply and hydropower engineering, including but not limited to powerhouse rehabilitations, high voltage switchyard/substation upgrade, transmission/distribution lines, RTU/PLC replacement, protective relays, instrumentation and control. Provides design and design support during construction and the commissioning/closeout project phases.Qualifications:
Minimum Five (5) years verifiable professional electrical engineering work experience BS Electrical Engineering Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California Certificate of OSHA 10-hr training. Proof of a training on NFPA 70E Arc Flash Course. Location:
- Candidate must be willing to commute to Moccasin, California on a daily basis and report to a client office.
- Costs of commuting will be factored in to base pay during pay negotiations.
- Preferable candidate from Modesto or Stockton areas.
