TNC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Director of Philanthropy Systems and Processes works with Philanthropy leadership to design and disseminate fundraising business policies and procedures throughout the Nature Conservancy and to align systems and training to support them. S/he partners with executive and program staff at the Worldwide Office and in the field to synthesize requirements and design business processes that deliver strong levels of performance and ensure effective legal and regulatory compliance, and ensures that recommended policies are reflected in CRMS system requirements as well as organization-wide training. The Director monitors system effectiveness and the impact of policies and practices on fundraising performance, data integrity and compliance objectives, and develops strategies to improve outcomes/ address identified gaps. He or she will provide leadership for the Philanthropy Department's transition to a new Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS), coordinating with other departments as needed to ensure an integrated, cohesive business process and customer experience. The Director supervises the Fundraising Systems Specialist Team and the CRMS business lead, a total of approximately 20 staff. Fundraising Systems Specialists provide FMS/CRMS business support and training, tier 1 reporting and custom queries, and oversee the accuracy of gift recording in compliance with sound financial management policies and practices (e.g., FASB) for field and centralized operating units. The Director serves as the primary owner for business processes and institutional guidelines related to the work of the Fundraising Systems Specialists, and is responsible for establishing and monitoring activity level benchmarks and measures of success. S/he directs the development and implementation of a strategic, integrated approach to maximize success. The Director is also responsible for the administration and monitoring of his or her team's budget, and for personnel and human resources issues. The Director has a strong work ethic and spirit of customer service, and proactively anticipates and works to address key stakeholder needs. S/he participates in or leads special projects at the request of TNC leadership. S/he reports to the Director of Field Strategy and Operations . TNC BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
