The Workforce Development Coordinator Position will be an integral part of the Gulf Coast Initiative Workforce Development team and will have responsibility for assisting in the development, implementation and sustaining of Workforce Development Initiatives.

This position requires tracking leadership development courses, assisting with NCCER tracking, and tracking the organization's Bechtel University needs. Additionally, the candidate serves in an administrative role that includes managing metrics, logistics, equipment, facilities, and deliverables.

The candidate will coordinate community relations efforts to include NCCER initiatives such as career fairs, high school outreach, GoPro, community college, and trade school outreach. The candidate will also be responsible to develop, implement and sustain craft feedback roundtable discussions in order to maintain regular project feedback.

The candidate will identify, develop, and plan training courses intended to provide learning experiences to a variety of audiences.

This candidate must be able to work independently and as a team member and have the ability to make decisions without supervision. This position may also require coordinating or leading others in accomplishing work activities.

The responsibilities of this position may change often and will require adaptability.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or equivalent
Good oral and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to extract, compile, and analyze data for the preparation of reports, studies, and graphs
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or equivalent
2-5 years of work experience
