LEAD SCHEDULING ENGINEER Supervises schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development activities on the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP) in Turkey. Supports project organizational and administrative activities. Supervise the development and integration of individual schedules into the total project plan. Establishes milestones for the total project and supervises schedule resource loading and leveling. Support development of scheduling standards and procedures. Position Duties/Responsibilities The Lead Planner will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Engineering and Procurement Schedules utilizing Primavera. Detailed schedule development duties include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), determining the work activity duration and establishing the proper work flow logic ties. Routine analysis and work around option planning along with interface coordination with the construction scheduler will be required. Other duties include input to the Monthly Progress Report and issuance of the weekly schedule analysis report. Additional duties include supervision of the implementation and maintenance of the Engineering Progress and Performance (EPP) system using ePCWorks software. Provide staffing plans for planning and scheduling activities. JOB RELATED QUALIFICATIONS Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data and analysis to PC, other groups, Bechtel Mgmt and Client Mgmt. A working knowledge of primavera project planner (P6) and cost work processes related to schedule engineering activities is required. Familiarity with Bechtel standards, procedures, organization and automated systems preferred. Must have prior supervisory experience. Grade 26: A minimum of ten (10) years project controls experience, preferably consisting of Scheduling activities, and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration, OR a minimum of thirteen (13) years project controls experience. Grade 27: A minimum of ten (12) years project controls experience, preferably consisting of Scheduling activities, and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration, OR a minimum of fifteen (15) years project controls experience.
