Role Overview:

The Statutory Financial Accountant is responsible for the efficient operation of the following activities:

Maintains all aspects of assigned statutory accounting segments.
Prepares monthly and annual corporate tax returns, as well as any report requested from Government authorities.
Ensures compliance with tax information requirements.
Actively supports tax auditing processes and responds requests from Tax Authority.
Ensures that all assigned account reconciliations are completed monthly and correction of stale items are cleared in the current month.
Examines a variety of recording and reporting documents to verify accuracy and conformance with specific functional, corporate, contract, government, or professional accounting requirements.
Reconciles reports and financial data with other records on file. Points out inconsistencies and errors.
Acts as a subject matter expert to support changes to Oracle Localization applications and participates in testing for software changes pertaining to Localization processes.
Supports Internal and External audits. In the performance of the above activities, the Statutory Accountant shall ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
Adhere to due dates at all times for reports and task completion.
Give early warnings of problem due date difficulties.
The Financial Accountant shall also ensure that he/she leads by example, promotes teamwork at every occasion, respects others opinions, openly contributes at meetings, does not accept status quo, and upholds fair and ethical behavior with customers in compliance with Bechtel business ethics code.

Basic Qualifications:
At least three years experience in taxes, finance, accounting or external audit.

Preferred Qualifications:
Four year degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution, or related course study
Desirable upper-intermediate level of English skills, both oral and written
