Job Description:  We are currently seeking a candidate in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area for the position of a Regional Business Line Leader to manage marketing and business development efforts in the Port and Marine market sector.  Daily activities will include developing business leads, managing clients, proposals, schedules, and project reporting for multiple projects.  Additional duties as Project Manager or Project Director on Port and Marine projects within the district.  PD duties will also include invoicing clients and obtaining payments in a timely manner.  PM will be responsible for creating and negotiating new contracts, and fulfilling the agreed-to scope of work.  Some travel, both domestic and foreign, will be required.
The BL Leader will report to the National Director, Ports and Marine, and the NE Transportation Market Sector Leader, or his designated representative, and work closely with the project managers, department manager, senior level engineers and other project team members.
The position requires solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Working familiarity with basic computer programs, such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary.
The candidate shall have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 25 years of relevant experience in positions of similar responsibility and a proven track record of business development and project management of a variety of projects of various sizes. Professional registration is required.
