Summary of Role: The Manager of Americas RLC Demand Generation Programs will lead the team responsible for developing and executing the strategies necessary to achieve SunPower's aggressive demand generation goals for residential and light commercial solar. In this role, you will work closely with SunPower's residential (75%) and light commercial (25%) dealer channels, and manage a portfolio of lead generation programs to deliver high quality, differentiated leads at the lowest cost per closed sale. You will develop, launch and track scalable turnkey lead gen programs and manage their ongoing support and usage by SunPower's dealers.
This role reports directly to the Director of Americas RLC Marketing and has a dotted line into the Senior Manager of Global Lead Generation & Referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy and Leadership: Define and implement the lead generation strategy to meet SunPower's aggressive sales targets for the residential and light commercial channels
  • Manage: Lead and developa high performing lead generation team to lead the implementation of approved lead generation strategy
  • Collaborate: Work in conjunction with the global lead generation team to develop and launch new lead generation programs, technologies and support for SunPower's residential and light commercial dealers.
  • Pilot: Test new lead generation campaigns, report on key metrics, and adapt successful programs for wide-scale rollout
  • Launch: Deploy compelling programs to the dealer base. This includes a) the creation of SunPower programs for dealers to execute, b) programs managed with third parties and internal teams for dealers to participate in, and c) lead acquisition for SunPower to drive entirely.
  • Optimize: Deliver optimal mix within lead categories between; vendor, programmatic and exclusive, to minimize cost per close and increase close rates
  • Communicate: Manage outbound dealer communication to ensure clarity, encourage adoption, and maximize impact of campaigns measured by key close and cost metrics
  • Measure: Develop and maintain metrics, provide ongoing reporting to track program performance, and create closed loop processes to continually improve lead generation programs
  • Report: Work in conjunction with SunPower's Business Analytics team to deliver high value and actionable reporting to marketing, the sales team, management and dealers to drive improvements in SunPower lead generation
  • Develop Sales Tools: Create and deliver supporting sales tools and marketing collateral for SunPower dealer network and sales team
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in both business to consumer and business to business lead generation, online marketing, and or program development and management
  • Proven ability to meet aggressive demand generation targets while tracking conversion metrics
    • Strong analytical skills are critical to success in this role
  • Experience managing high performing teams both directly and in a matrix environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing-related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with other team members, sales, dealer channel
  • Extremely goal-oriented, ability to find creative solutions and drive results
  • Experience working with a dealer channel model
Ability to work independently with moderate direction in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Requirements:
  • MBA a plus
  • Experience with Eloqua a plus
