Job Description:  Purpose of role:

Support the International Communication team in the sourcing and delivery of inspiring content to tell the brand story to multiple stakeholders and across multiple channels.

Key Job Accountabilities:



Asset & Content Creation



- Identify, create, collect story and content from all teams in TBS to ensure regular, high quality and inspiring brand content for story telling

- Develop rich narrative and visual imagery for use across multiple channels to support strategic communication around CFT, ingredients, campaigns, people news and product and to highlight seasonal, calendar or category opportunities

- Ensure the collection of all relevant information from Values and Brand teams, Category, VM, Event, and Digital teams as appropriate

- Ensure detailed and effective proof points

- Lead the creation of narrative for interviews and other written content that is required to animate the Brand with external journalists, consumers, opinion leaders etc.

- Inspire and propose innovation on the content strategy and creation to gain competitive advantage towards our competitors

- Suggest and propose innovation in the way of working to gain more efficiency in collaborating with markets, zones and others teams in International

- Work with digital/social media to provide regular stories for global teams



Support on Press Release Activation



- Produce under coordination of the Senior Brand Communication Manager in an efficient and innovative way the press release, respecting deadline and budget

- Support any other related activity which is require by the Brand Communication team



Report and connect on markets' activities

- Act as a proactive and efficient point of contact for markets and zones to ensure full alignment and support in building a more successful working relation under guidance of Senior Brand Communication Manager

- Report on Brand Communication activities in the markets, using creative and innovative way to get information and follow up to the markets in a detailed and constant way

- Use the information gathered to produce ad hoc analysis for the team, suggest insight and share continuously them with the Senior Brand Communication Manager

- Suggest effective and strategic KPI to be enable to measure effectively quantitatively and qualitatively markets' activities



Coordination with other teams

- Act as a proactive and efficient point of contact for others team in international to facilitate alignment and promote the Brand Communication strategy/vision under guidance of Senior Brand Communication Manager



Support on Events

- Support in the organization and execution of internal/external meetings and events under guidance of Senior Brand Communication Manager

- Contribute to the annual event plan with innovative and courageous proposition under guidance of the Senior Brand Communication Manager



Other
- To actively engage with Company and Franchised Markets through Market and Store visits and to spend 5 days a year working in Store with Store Staff and The Body Shop customer.

- To perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

- Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers.

- Champions, supports and participates in The Body Shop's Values and Campaigns.

Experience:

- Strong expertise in writing & content creation

- Understanding of the communication arena in cosmetics & toiletries

- Experience in managing complex events and business meetings

- Proven experience of working in an international environment

Qualifications: Educated to degree level or equivalent.
