Job Description:  This brand new role, based in our International IT department in Littlehampton is a great opportunity to get involved with large projects and to work both cross-functionally and internationally. We're looking for someone with strong communication skills, who enjoys a client-facing role.

Purpose of role:

Design, develop and implement EDI integration solutions in SAP ECC6 to support critical business solutions, overcoming the complexity of process and data interaction between organisations. Manage engagement of third parties, cross-functional internal peers and external business partners and affiliates for the effective delivery of solutions. Ensure the integrity of data flows from both internal and external systems to enable the sucessfull operation of critical business processes.

Role Definitions
Key Job Accountabilities:


• Work with new and existing customers and EDI providers to define and build new EDI integrations in SAP ECC6. Utilising SAP SD, LE and MM functional experience alongside ABAP and ALE ( Not XI/PI ).


• Manage the delivery of innovative integration solutions including the engagement of external and internal resources to support critical business initiatives, adhering to IT and Business Standards.


• Maintain the efficient and reliable flow of business critical data across the International Integration landscape including TBS Systems, Franchise partners, E-commerce and CRM systems, EDI VAN providers and Wholesale channels, as appropriate and required.


• Manage the integration landscape, with other Integration Specialists in the absence of the International Integration Manager. Use initiative and experience to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Liaise and communicate with affected internal and external partners to understand the business impact and resolve issues with a minimum of disruption to business processes.


• Demonstrate technical proficiency in the TBS chosen tool-sets.


• Provide support for integration related issues, as agreed in Operational escalation procedures, which may require out-of-hours working according to a defined callout rota.

• Continually improve IT working processes, looking for SMART ways to reduce both overall costs and efficiencies within the role.

• An understanding of business processes and their priority

• To perform other related duties as assigned or requested

• Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers

• Champions, supports and participates in The Body Shop's Values and Campaigns

Personal requirements for role
Experience:


• Experience of implementing complex solutions combining multiple tools and technologies to deliver a total end-to-end-solution.

• Effective at managing customer expectations to ensure developments are delivered on schedule and to a high level of customer satisfaction. Comfortable and proficient in a customer facing role.

• Experience of implementing EDI solutions in a SAP environment ( not using XI/PI ), including but not limited to :
SAP Sales Order lifecycle and relevant skills in MM, SD and LE in particular.
Detailed understanding of EDIFACT and X12 EDI standards and messages, in particular those related to Sales Order processing
EDI Message Implementation Guides and associated data mapping to SAP IDOCs, tables and processes.
SAP ALE data processing including IDOC creation and output determination, custom IDOC creation and IDOC extension.
SAP ABAP including user exits, enhancements, BADI and BAPI.
Secure data transfer technologies including SSH FTP and similar
UNIX scripting


• Self-motivated and process driven, with experience of working in a high-pressured environment, working to deadlines, working alone, and using own initiative.

• Project management including the ability to manage and influence business stakeholders and external third parties.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
