SUMMARY: As a successful Overnight Bakery Team Member, you will perform all overnight production duties with other scheduled team members including the production of cakes and pastries. The Overnight Bakery Team Member will work closely with the Bakery Team Leader and Associate Team Leader to ensure smooth operation of the Team. Maintains a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service. Supports the Team Leader and Regional Coordinator in maintaining regional standards. DUTIES:
- Perform all duties of an overnight Bakery Team Member as directed by team leadership.
- Maintain proper levels of ingredients and products.
- Primarily work the overnight shift during non-business hours.
- Support the Bakery Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Supervisor and Regional Coordinator in maintaining regional standards.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing product for the next day, rotating product, biolding displays and maintaining clean back stock area.
- Keep product levels full and fresh.
- Ensure all prepared items are labeled, dated, initialed, covered and rotated.
- Complete all daily production sheets.
- Keep accurate temperature logs.
- Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
- Support national, regional, and store programs.
- Ensure walk-in, freezer, reach-in and lo-boy are kept clean and organized.
- Uphold good organic storage requirements.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety codes.
- Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
- Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership.
- Ability to understand and complete departmental transfers.
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness and to check signage and labeling for accurate pricing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the proper use of a dumpster, baler, slicer, ovens, knives, and all related equipment.
- Environmental exposure: temperature extremes (coolers, freezer, ovens, outdoors)
- Willingness to provide exemplary customer service constantly and consistently.
- A desire to learn about natural and organic foods and products.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position.
- Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
- Strong organizational skills; basic computer skills.
- Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
Essential Job Functions: - Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
- Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
