• Must have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from a 4 year accredited college or university or will obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from a 4 year accredited college or university prior to the start of this position.
• Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Requirements:
• Previous internship with URS Corporation.
• Previous internship experience at a DOE facility.
• 3.5 GPA or higher
• 1 year of previous internship or work experience or demonstrated interest in environmental remediation, permitting and compliance, or waste treatment technology.

URS Corporation is seeking an Environmental Engineer to be based in our Aiken, SC location.
Position Description:
Environmental engineer(s) needed to support a wide range of opportunities in URS environmental and regulatory services. Successful candidate (s) may work in compliance permit review, environmental monitoring, data analysis, or in remedial investigation and design. Investigation and design opportunities include waste site sampling and characterization, landfill cover engineering and construction, or waste site and groundwater remediation activities. Engineers may work on a team or with experienced managers, and with subcontractors. Some travel is required as locations span the U.S. and include Department of Energy locations.
