Education:
• Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent

Experience/Requirements:
• Three years of experience installing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, tuning, administering and maintaining operations in a MAXIMO or similar CMMS/EAM environment
• Two years of experience in database design, configuration, tuning, and data manipulation
• Two years of experience in middleware service design, configuration and tuning
• Two years of experience using one of the following reporting tools: BIRT, Actuate, Crystal or COGNOS
• TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required or the ability to obtain one within a year from date of hire.


Preferred:
• Training completed-IBM MAXIMO Asset Management 6 Fundamentals or higher
• Training completed-IBM MAXIMO Asset Management 6 Work Management or higher
• Training completed-IBM Tivoli Reporting for Enterprise IT and Asset Management 6 or higher

• Typical office environment with no unusual hazards.
• Works around non-hazardous materials/waste, lifting, stooping, crawling, bending, and carrying.

Job Description:

URS Corporation is looking for a Systems Analyst to join their Program team in Salt Lake City, UT. Provides technical support for data center asset management system by performing all database administrative duties. Coordinates physical changes to computer data bases. Codes, tests and implements physical database. Designs logical and physical data bases or reviews description of changes to design. Establishes physical database parameters and calculates optimum values for database parameters. Specifies user access level for each segment of data items. Tests and corrects errors. Modifies database programs to increase processing performance. Makes changes to database management system. Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes and staff cost to make change.

Performs a combination of duties necessary to provide support to employees at all levels of the organization with fact-based information. Duties include providing support to multiple customers, to include developing, evaluating and assessing performance measurements as they relate to business processes, plant systems and operational issues. Supports multiple users by ensuring that timely, accurate and consistent information is available and that systems (applications) are in a consistent and appropriate form. Analyzes business problems, identifies relevant data and converts such data into a form suitable for electronic data submission to users throughout the company. Serves as the point of contact for the functional area on all processes, system and informational matters and confers with customers to ascertain informational, reporting and performance measurement (metrics) requirements. Studies existing databases and systems to evaluate their effectiveness and develops new databases and systems to improve timeliness, accuracy and consistency of data and all resultant reports and metrics. The Program consists of multi-year execution of an operations and maintenance contract for a large data center.

Job duties:
1. Directs and controls the activities related to data planning and developing and the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to data base management, security, maintenance and utilization to include the following:
- Analyze information requirements to determine data base construction and maintenance.
- Analyze efficiency of data base, security of information and the use of new technology.
- May assist management with strategy development for long range requirements for data base administration.
2. Designs logical and physical data bases.
3. Coordinates and makes changes to data base management system.
4. Codes, tests and implements physical data base.
5. Sets and monitors standards.
6. Specifies user access level.
7. Advises personnel on data processing administrative policies and procedures, security maintenance, technical problems, methods, priorities and utilization.
8. Advises management on data base concepts and functional capabilities.
9. May provide some technical guidance to technicians.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
