Minimum Requirements: BS in Civil Engineering with 10 years experience in Surface Transportation. Must have a minimum 6 years business development experience with strong transportation industry connections with all the various PennDOT Districts and Central Office and the PA Turnpike Commission. In addition we are looking for an individual who is actively involved with the DRPA, DRJTBC, City of Philadelphia Streets Department, as well as other local and state transportation agencies. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Job Description: URS is looking for an individual to lead our Surface Transportation Business Line development in Eastern Pennsylvania. Business Line development tasks will include tracking planned projects; setting up teaming; marketing with the clients and teaming partners; making sure URS is represented and sponsoring appropriate business development venues; taking lead on Go/NoGo's, completing necessary Management Approval requests, setting up marketing #'s, being responsible for making sure SOI's, proposals, qualifications are on-time and of good quality and following up on selections, keeping marketing materials, resumes, etc. up-to-date and fresh, training/overseeing marketing support staff to assist accordingly; communicating marketing status with managers and other client coordinators.
