Senior UXO Supervisor (SUXOS) AECOM is currently seeking an unexploded ordnance (UXO) an Senior UXO Supervisor (SUXOS)for a clearance activities and construction support on projects in various locations throughout the United States of America. While at the project site, you will be paid the prevailing wage for a Senior UXO Supervisor (SUXOS) defined in the National Service Contract Act Wage Determination for the county in which you will be working. You will also receive a 4% and/or 8% (depending upon the proximity to ordinance) Hazardous Pay. In addition, you will receive a per hour rate for taxable Health and Welfare Benefits. Flat rate per diem will be paid, based of of location, ¾ meal per diem on mobilization days. All personnel are required to perform functions which requires experience and training in explosives safety; recognition of munitions and explosives of concern (MEC), particularly UXO; and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Candidates must a graduate of a Military EOD School of the United States and have a minimum of ten years or more experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, as appropriate for the contracted operation. Five years experience in supervisory positions. In addition to being able to fully perform all of the UXOSP, UXO TECH I, UXO TECH II, and UXO TECH III functions above, SUXOS shall: • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all explosives operations. • Supervise multiple teams. • Assist in development of munitions response plans.
