AECOM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill multiple positions for entry to mid-level environmental biologists. In this role, candidates can expect to coordinate, lead and execute field activities associated with wetland delineation, stream identification, threatened and endangered species surveys and associated activities in support of permit applications for the oil and gas industry. In addition to field activities, candidates should possess strong working knowledge of current and emerging regulations and have the ability to identify permit implications during field activities, specifically related to Sections 401, 402, and 404 of the Clean Water Act. Office skills are critical to the work, which includes map preparation using GIS, report preparation and permit applications. Candidates can expect to be in the field approximately 50% of the work year, with more time during summer months, as well as travel to areas within Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky. Candidates with a Masters Degree are preferred; but not required. Training is available; however, candidates with appropriate certifications and trainings will be highly considered.
