Job Summary

Delivers the designated training curricula according to the needs of the organization as determined by the leadership, project deliverables and training teams. Plays a key role in the planning, development, and design of new curricula.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.


  • Plans, creates, and communicates monthly training schedule for a designated department by role and specified courses.

  • Reports schedule, participant attendance, assessments and evaluations to the Training Coordinator in order to maintain accurate training readiness and participation records.

  • Orders training materials in a timely manner to be delivered to training locations and for electronic materials, ensures the site and links are available and working properly.

  • Delivers curricula demonstrating adult and accelerated learning techniques.

  • Assesses training participants as appropriate before, within and after a course and provides feedback to the participants, managers and stakeholders.

  • Assesses and coaches individual participant performance following training through observation as appropriate to measure the impact of learning to specific business results.

  • Reviews and edits existing and new training curricula for the entire team (this includes job aids and huddle points).

  • Leads and drives development and design of new training curricula as needed.

  • Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for designated trainers of curricula.

  • Assists management in the selection of external training suppliers as needed.

  • Produces weekly status reports for training management and project stakeholders.

  • Attends quarterly management meetings in order to report progress on training initiatives, assist with alignment of training goals and business initiatives, and identify upcoming training opportunities.

  • Maintains knowledge of training or company procedures through reading and interpreting general business periodicals and professional journals.

    Qualifications

    The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.


    A. Education and Experience

    Required: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study, and three to five years previous experience.


    Preferred: Master's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study, and three to five years previous experience.


    B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

    None required.


    C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required


    Captivate, Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other instructional design tools.
