Job Summary


The Construction Services Sales Coordinator provides builder direct customer service and administrative support for the construction department by serving as one point of contact for customer, acting as liaison between customer and operations, assisting Construction Services Account Managers (CSAMs) with daily paperwork requirements and ensures resolution of escalated customer issues. This is an office-based, inside support position.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


  • Fields incoming calls for entire construction department

  • Works to understand customer's needs, issues, and requests.

  • Works with customers, operations, sales, and set-up departments to resolve customer's issues including escalated and complex customer service issues.

  • Provides advanced information and education to customers regarding service options, charges, and billing questions.

  • Acts as lead contact with customer and operations, when dealing with haul or call program as well as estimates on timing of deliveries or empty and returns.

  • To generate and submit new orders and setups on behalf of CSAM to meet delivery deadlines.

  • Meets or exceeds defined productivity metrics.

  • Generates and maintains performance reporting goals.

  • Solves difficult problems on the customer's behalf by engaging the right department and people within Waste Management.

  • Communicates and coordinates with sales and operations departments to ensure follow-up on sales leads, set-ups, missed pick-ups, and other customer-related issues.

  • Initiates outbound calls to customers to ensure that issues are resolved and to ensure customer satisfaction and build loyalty slideshow

  • Uses computer system to retrieve customer information and provide information to customers, sales, and operations departments.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications


    The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.


    A. Education and Experience


    Required: High school diploma or G.E.D, and four or more years previous experience.


    Preferred: Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience, and four or more years previous experience. Also preferred is prior experience with Salesforce.com.


    B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements


    None required.


    C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required


    None required.
