The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the vehicle level system validation test team. The responsibility of this team is to validate all software functionality on vehicle level. Focus is on both, function and safety. A Tesla contains a high variety of vehicle functionalities. In this highly agile environment new features are getting developed and implemented in a high frequency what is triggering a challenging amount of inventing new test setups and technics.

These setups are requiring a very self-driven technician for concept phase, initial build-up and maintenance. Furthermore the area of responsibility is the test execution support during software release cycles on vehicle and / or bench level.

Responsibilities

Promote and protect Tesla's reputation as a cutting-edge company producing the world's most exciting cars and shifting the paradigm of personal transportation worldwide.

Create test setups according to specification

Modify and maintain test setups and interfaces

Invent interfaces for the purpose of automated test execution

Execute defined system tests on vehicle and / or bench level

Document test results and tests setup specification

Interact with all levels of engineering to gather the best possible system understanding

Requirements

Trade or Technical School Diploma

Experience in automotive field

Outstanding ability in handling electronic setups, PCBs and wiring
