| Job Description: ||
- Plan and conduct geotechnical investigations and prepare Geotechnical Data Reports; evaluate subsurface conditions, calculate bearing capacity and settlement for shallow foundations; conduct seepage and stability analyses for dams, levees and natural and man-made slopes; design deep foundations for buildings, bridges and major structures; perform site specific ground motion time history analysis and evaluate seismic risk; perform safety inspections for dams, floodwalls and flood control levee; assist with geotechnical characterization for tunneling projects, including data evaluation and preparing data summary plots and histograms;
- Assist with preparation of portions of Geotechnical Baseline Reports and Geotechnical Design Memoranda for tunnel projects

- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Geotechnical ; Engineering with emphasis in Rock Mechanics ; Registration as EIT or Licensed Engineer; PE registration in CA preferable.
