Job Summary


At Waste Management, a Field Energy Services Recruiter performs all functions related to hiring qualified personnel to staff both field and/or corporate based positions for our energy services group.


The incumbent will represent the company in a professional and positive manner and assists candidates through the interview and on-boarding process. In this role, you are responsible for recruiting qualified oil, field and other energy field candidates such as:


CDL drivers

Mechanics

Fleet Managers

Dispatchers

Operation Managers

Safety Coordinators

Roustabouts

Oilfield Workers

and more!


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Performs a variety of functions supporting the recruitment of quality candidates to fill a variety of positions including but not limited to development of recruiting strategy for his/her service area, development of individual job recruiting strategy, tracking of job related activity, among other functions.

Sources potential candidates through a variety of creative and standard methods. Screens potential applicants for qualifications as compared to job requirements.

Conducts preliminary interviews of qualified candidate. Refers acceptable candidates for the next level of interview, and coordinates the actual interview.

Interacts with hiring manager regarding all openings and qualified candidates. May make hiring recommendations.

Provides candidates with information regarding compensation, benefits, policies and procedures, in order to ensure the candidate is well informed, and to promote a positive image.

May extend and negotiate offers of employment to selected candidates. Generates offer letter documenting employment conditions.

Utilizes systems developed to track open positions, search status, credentialing, -nd reference checking documentation. Provides regular reports on status of searches.

Enhances professional growth and development through participating in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.

Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.

Qualifications


The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.


Education and Experience


Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or similar area of study, and three to five years of previous experience.


Preferred: Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or similar area of study, and three to five years of previous experience. The ideal candidate will have current recruiting experience in the oil and gas energy services space.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements


None required.


Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required


Ability to travel regionally via car and/or air to attend events and conduct site visits and manager engagement meetings.
