CH2M HILL Western Region Transit & Rail Director Careers

The challenge? Helping our urban and suburban communities stay safely on the move. Our Western Region Transit & Rail Director career path is your opportunity to align with the vision of CH2M HILL's Global Transportation team. Each day you will be the face of CH2M HILL as you develop and capture transit and rail projects in California with Metro, OCTA, SRTD, NCTD, BART, Muni and other California rail agencies. Moreover, you will lead the entire western region operations team responsible for continuing to increase CH2M HILL's market share in transit & rail programs through services such as planning, design, design-build, program management and construction management.

You should be a self-motivated Light Rail (LRT) or Commuter Rail business development and operations executive well networked with California transit agencies and have a desire to grow personally and professionally within each transit project.

Our Regional Transit & Rail Market Segment Directors:

Manage and build a large transit and rail practice for the entire region (all states west of the Mississippi River except Texas)

Continue to increase CH2M HILL's growing market share in transit & rail (tripled transit work in two years)

Attract and retain the best talent in the Transit and Rail arena

Coach the business development team on consultative selling approaches in the transit and rail market

Improve upon our already vast relationships in all metro areas as well as local capabilities.

Serve as guides and mentors to operations

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required

Well networked in the public sector with California Transit Agencies especially in southern California

Light Rail, Commuter Rail or High Speed Rail experience in a consulting firm

Demonstrated history bringing design-build transit and rail projects to market

A career that originated in engineering or planning with front-end conceptualizing

Degree Required

Bachelors or 4 Year Degree
