Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

BS in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or related degree

Candidate must have a minimum of fifteen years experience with classifying soils and the ability to drill boreholes, direct drillers for boring and installation of monitoring wells, collect ground water samples, and proficiency in basic computer skills.

Familiarity with site investigation methodologies associated with Illinois UST/LUST, SRP and RCRA sites.

Must have experience direction staff and administering a project

Candidate must be competent in use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Position may include travel to sites such as Gary, Indiana which will require reliable transportation and valid drivers license.

Must obtain negative results on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy. Must successfully complete physical screening.

Job Description:

Duties include but may not be limited to the following:

Work as the Project Manager to develop and administer the site utilization program as required to service the project effort for client;

Monitor actual vs. required performance of all junior staff, and sub-contractors.

Provide direction and oversite to field staff and sub-contractors;

Being familiar with the requirements of the general contract, thereby identifying changes, conflicts, etc., that is beyond the original scope of responsibility;

Other duties as assigned.
