Client Manager / Marcellus Shale Job Details

Minimum Requirements:

MS degree in science or engineering or BS degree in science or engineering with MBA. Minimum 10 years direct experience in development of business opportunities in engineering/ environmental consulting. Demonstrated successful project and client management
experience also important, including knowledge of key project and business performance metrics. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Ideal candidate must have excellent understanding of PA environmental regulations, particularly as they pertain to gas development in the Marcellus Shale. Other important regulatory knowledge may include Oil and Gas, Solid Waste, Mining, and Water related
regulations in Pennsylvania. Candidate must have project experience working with clients on Marcellus-related projects.

Job Description:

Successful candidate will lead the development of a field office in the Williamsport area for building upon existing internal and external relationships and develop new ones to maximize the capture of new work in the areas of support to gas exploration and production companies. In addition to developing local staff, the candidate will have an established practice and a broad network of local, regional, and corporate resources and staff to build upon. Responsible for the use of technical and regulatory experience in all areas of Oil and Gas and related programs, from permitting and water sourcing through design and construction.

Responsible for preparing effective proposals and oral presentations for the purpose of selling URS' services to clients. The candidate for this position is expected to be a visible presence in the local business community representing URS, and will benefit from
success in achieving goals.

This position will be part of a multi-disciplined team of professionals working on all aspects of Marcellus projects and will be supported by URS's civil and environmental engineers, geoscientists, biologists, and other staff of over 500 employees throughout Pennsylvania to help expand services and client base.
