Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in science, engineering or marketing/communications.

6 years of job-related experience working in a marketing/proposal support role, including public sector proposal efforts.

Strong organizational and communication skills, and be able to work/coordinate efforts from multi-discipline teams within the office, across multiple company offices and among subcontractors in support of marketing and proposal efforts.

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite 2010 and Adobe).

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Successful candidate will be articulate with professional presence, with solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills.

Must obtain negative result on drug screening performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy.


Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator role will work with engineering, environmental and construction management specialists to develop marketing materials, support trade shows and related events, but most importantly coordinate proposal efforts.

Interact with marketing staff from other offices and operations.

Ensure quality and consistency of URS' professional image in client communications, proposals, and collateral material.

Direct and/or participate in all aspects of proposal preparation including the development and collection of boilerplate materials (project job descriptions, resumes), technical writing, graphics, document editing, content review, printing, and final document assembly.

Coordinate and provide in-house production services.

Ensure quality control or proofing of related content.

Monitor client and public websites and news articles, review and highlight upcoming bids and pursuits from various state and federal databases.

For most proposals, candidate will manage and oversee the process and ensure that the deliverable meets quality expectations (including grammar, spelling and general compliance to RFP requirements).

This position will report directly to the Office Manager for the Northern New England operations and will coordinate closely with the business leads for Infrastructure/Transportation and Construction Services.
