Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Five (5) years of stable experience in Water/Wastewater engineering design and project management with both municipal and private clients including water, sewer and wastewater treatment projects A current PE in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and or the ability to obtain in 6 months. Able to be actively engaged in a strong Design Group Position requires the desire to meet new potential clients, and current clients, assist in writing proposals and help grow URS's workload. Must be able to delegate work to team members and others with specific expertise, while taking a share of the overall responsibility for the success of the project. Must work well with multiple offices and have the ability to manage people, resources, and the financial performance of projects. Excellent organizational and communication skills. This position requires successful completion of the URS Project Management Certification program within 6 months of hire. Job Description: This position will work with our project teams in several offices to deliver high quality work products to our clients that meet scope requirements are on time and budget. Candidate will sit in the Delaware office. Project types may include any type of municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. Projects will include water/wastewater treatment, pump station and pipeline planning and design, sewer and water rehabilitation work. Serve as a Project Engineer for larger projects. Responsible for different aspects of project implementation; assist the Project Manager with the day to day contact with the client, scope, budget, schedule, quality, health & safety, staffing, and technical direction. Prepare written reports and ensuring project completion. May serve as a Project Manager on various projects. Responsible for overall client satisfaction, quality, health & safety, and overall work product. Work with technical team to ensure the success of the project. Serve as a technical resource for projects, as needed. Conduct work consistent with URS' Quality Assurance Program, to ensure projects are meeting URS quality standards and to gain additional understanding of URS projects and procedures. Participate in various market segment teams to support strategy development and implementation to grow URS' backlog. Work with the Leadership team to develop and or modify our overall growth strategies, define targets, and pursue those targets. Assist in meeting with potential clients, as appropriate, to identify potential projects and gather information to support URS' effort in pursuing future projects. Work with the URS team to leverage our strengths and improve our weaknesses. Network with other URS staff to develop a firm understanding of URS' capabilities, key personnel, and business development practices. Support marketing and proposal efforts as needed. Modeling experience using BioWin® or similar process design software. Hydraulic modeling experience using InfoWorks/InfoWater® a plus. EOE M/F/D/V
