Senior Engineer/Scientist Job Details

BS with 10 years of environmental consulting experience specializing in climate change discipline.

Strong project management, analytical and computer skills mandatory for this position as is an understanding of California environmental regulatory environment. Past experience with client development and proposal preparation is necessary for this position.

Applicant should have past experience with working cooperatively in multi-disciplinary teams and develop group work products.

Skilled in Project Management - this includes staffing resources and financial management.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work independently on field assignments and write technical reports.

Primary Role in Environmental Remediation and Compliance Projects. Secondary Role in greenhouse gas inventories and other related technical matters related to greenhouse gas emissions. Responsible for assisting in the client coordination and business development established programs, improving methodologies and reporting. Will utilize knowledge of energy supply and demand functions and technologies. Will use scientific methods for estimating net greenhouse gas fluxes. Will apply an understanding of climate change policy issues.

This position will include responsibility for developing business with new and existing clients.
