Job Description:  Summary

- Position will report to the Director of Sales for North America – Residential and Light Commercial Business Unit.
- Position will support the sales department by addressing internal issues that are impacting the productivity of field sales personnel and driving projects that will allow RSMs to focus on high value tasks. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with marketing, customer service, logistics, IT and finance to improve communications between/with the RSMs and to assure that RSMs have fingertip access to clear instructions about corporate managed programs and services. The Inside Sales Representative will help insure that RSMs understand and have access to the resource they need to find answers and provide great customer service. Particular attention will be paid to insuring that the answers to Frequently Asked Questions stop being asked because the answers have been proactively pushed to where they are needed.
- The Inside Sales Representative will help coordinate sales meetings and RSM training delivery to leverage and minimize time out of the field.
- The Inside Sales Representative will work with the NDS, Business Analytics, and Operations to insure that the reports and spreadsheets that are sent to the field in a format truly clear and useful to the field and, where necessary, work to identify improvements.
- We are looking for an individual to immediately integrate into the broader sales organization, with aspirations of becoming a Regional Sales or Partner Development Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- With National Sales Director, track and publish the Sales Issues list and current status.
- Create reports and assist the National Sales Director in analyzing sales efforts.
- Interface with internal organizations to coordinate all field roll-out activities to insure they are well thought through and include sufficient field training and responsible FAQs.
- Work with IT and Business Operations to insure that any new systems or IT changes are ‘field ready’ before launch.
- Help connect internal organizations that need field input to get what they need without undue sales disruption.
- Help internal organizations that need dealer input to get what they need with undue burden on our over exposed dealers.
- Assist with organization of dealer and employee meetings/events.
- Frequent regional travel (up to 40%) to partners will be required.




Education and Experience

- Bachelors degree required with preferred emphasis in marketing, administration, or a related degree.


Qualifications

- 3-5 years strong experience in sales or business development in a high ticket retail market (HVAC, Windows, other); photovoltaic industry experience is a plus; computer software, hardware and/or services experience only will not be considered
- Proven successful experience working with an independent dealer network
- Experience working with contractors
- Strong computer skills, including strength in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Basic familiarity with MS Project and specialized sales software is a plus.
- A strong desire to be a part of a rapidly growing business with an opportunity to progress
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; team player attitude
- Ability to help build an organization from the ground up, building structure over time
- Ability to work well remotely and in developing sales structure
