Senior Architect Job Details

Education:
Professional degree in Architecture.

Requirements:
Must possess at least 10 years of experience in architecture. Must have proven experience in architectural project management, and business development with established client relationships.

Must possess exceptional knowledge of architectural related health care requirements, processes, equipment, special regulations and architectural project management and have experience working with the ACHA. Proven ability in business development and established client relationships are a necessity.

Must have led (serving as Project Manager or greater) at least three hospital and/or health care facility projects that required compliance with ACHA regulations in the state of Florida within the last 7 years.

License/Registration:
Registered in Florida or NCARB Certification and the ability to become registered in Florida.

URS Corporation currently requires a Senior Architect / Project Manager to grow their developing Architectural Practice. Based in Miami, Florida, the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of architectural projects with follow-on business development responsibilities. The individual will also play a key role in the development of a healthcare studio within the Miami office with the support of the URS National Healthcare Practice.

Responsibilities will include:

• business development;

• participation in proposal preparation;

• initiation, management, and development of projects;

• client management;

• project management; and

• programming/schematic design/design development/construction documents
