Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, or equivalent field, or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in the design and construction of engineering projects, including 3 years of experience with electrified rail transit systems.
Knowledge of traction power system components including power, rectifier, distribution and SCADA equipment.
Experience working on large transit/railroad projects with Substations, 3rd Rail and/or Overhead Contact distribution systems.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite 2000, AutoCAD and estimating tools).
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Valid Driver's License.

Meet schedule and budget constraints per project demands.
Provide schedule input for design tasks and preparation of task budgets.
Support traction power system engineer in developing and reviewing designs and construction.
Develop cost estimates and projections.
Participate in project working meetings and manage meeting minute tasks.
Identify construction costs trending out of budget.
Manage the preparation of milestone design submittals.
Review contractor submittals and support the installation of traction power systems components and software.
