The Regional Learning and Development Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management and continuing operation of the Learning Management System (LMS) for Northern CA and Reno region to ensure seamless execution to serve the learning needs of Whole Foods Market Team Members. This includes serving as a key partner to the Global Learning & Development Team in order to serve all needs of the organization in relation to the LMS setup, maintenance and continuous operation. This individual is responsible for supporting the definition, development, maintenance and enforcement of documented training processes, procedures and practices related to the use and administration of the LMS to ensure consistent and well-integrated operation, data quality, and customer service.|
This position reports to the Regional Learning & Development Director. Work is both independent and with direction from Regional HR Leadership as well as the Global Learning Management System Administrator and Global Training Content Developers. This position is 75% LMS Administrator and 25% L&D Lead.
Essential Job Functions:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and
below shoulders and squat.
- Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
