Job Description:  AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Entry-Level Subcontract and Procurement Administrator for immediate employment for the Atlanta, GA office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
  • Identifies sources for the required services, issues requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluates the capabilities and performance of subcontractors, plans and conducts negotiations, and selects qualified subcontractors based upon their ability to provide the required services, competitive pricing, acceptable terms, appropriate quality, and timely completion of the work
  • Performs subcontracting functions in conformance with the requirements of the prime contract with the client
  • Awards, issues, and documents all agreements (Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, etc.) with subcontractors
  • Resolves disputes with subcontractors and evaluates subcontractor performance
  • Prepares, compiles, and maintains auditable records of the subcontracting process
  • Maintains awareness of market conditions to determine future availability of services and pricing probability
  • Plans, coordinates, and conducts negotiations with subcontractors
  • Manages subcontracts to ensure timely completion, compliance with requirements, and appropriateness of invoices and payment
  • Keeps management advised of significant subcontracting issues and potential problem areas
  • Gets Results:

    • Evaluates facts surrounding problem areas, enlists the advice and assistance of others, determines the most appropriate remedial actions, and implements corrective actions through available means

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, construction management, economics or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and related experience
  • Must possess strong computer skills relating to data analysis and document preparation
  • Acts with integrity
  • Demonstrates consistency and utilizes clear judgment
  • Business Acumen:
    • Works toward alignment of customer and Company objectives
    • Works to meet company and project objectives in regard to budgets and schedules
    • Agile, flexible and solution oriented
  • Communicates Clearly:

    • Complies with established company policies and procedures and utilizes established systems and tools
