Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6 years minimum of environmental consulting experience specializing in assessment and remediation discipline.

Strong project and task management, analytical and computer skills required as is an understanding of California environmental regulations.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and write technical reports.

40-Hour HAZWOPER training or ability to meet OSHA requirements for HAZWOPER training.

Must work well with multiple offices and have the ability to manage people, resources, and the financial performance of projects.

This position requires successful completion of the URS Project Management Certification program within 6 months of hire.

Job Description:

Primary Role will be as an Assistant Project Manager (APM) for a large remediation project. The APM will assist the PM in managing and administering the project. One of the APM’s responsibilities is to oversee and track client-billable charges. The APM will be the Point of Contact for all deliverables and is responsible for ensuring that QA/QC reviews are performed prior to issuance of the deliverables.
