Job Description:  This contract is contingent upon contract award.

This work will be performed in various locations: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Guam.

Perform simple and routine accounting clerical operations.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for performing one or more routine accounting clerical operations such as: examining, verifying, and correcting various accounting documents to ensure completeness and accuracy of date in accordance to accounting procedures. Specific tasks/duties are assigned under adequate supervision. Entry level reconciliation and posting will be assigned under detailed guidance. In most instances, and employee in this position will rely on the supervisors instructions. Recognizes and compares easily identified numbers and codes on similar and repetitive accounting documents.
  • Verifies mathematical accuracy/discrepancies and brings them to the supervisor's attention.
  • Work is closely controlled and reviewed in detail for accuracy, adequacy, and adherence to instructions.
  • Completed work will be reviewed for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

    Minimum Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Entry level position and no experience is required.
    • The ability to read and write, and to apply technical instructions is required. 1 year of general clerical experience and one 1 year of data entry experience on computer terminal is desired.
    • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
    • Must have a favorably completed National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check prior to installation access.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) or Rapid Gate Pass if required.
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
    • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
    • Must be either a US citizen or a US permanent resident with a minimum of 3 years legal residency in the United States.
