Job Description:  AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Lead Architect for immediate employment in our Denver, Colorado office.

Our B+P team is leading the industry with visionary and forward-thinking projects such as the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA; Liberty Park at the World Trade Center, New York, NY; the Lower Manhattan Coastal Resilience (Big U), NY; and the LA 2024 Olympic bid.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to those listed below:
  • Develop conceptual designs
  • Preparing Construction Documents
  • Coordinating design efforts with multi-discipline team members
  • Support Sr. Architects and Project Managers on multiple tasks
  • Preparing/ contributing to architectural studies
  • Participating in Facility Condition Assessments
  • Contributing to Code Searches
  • Providing advice and consultation to clients on architectural matters, including compliance with codes and regulations
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • 7+ years of related experience with Architectural or A/E firm
  • Licensed as a Registered Architect or qualified for licensing within one year
  • Experience in developing and prepare construction documents for Healthcare, institutional, commercial and/or federal projects
  • Strong technical skills related to planning, and architectural design and detailing
  • Experience coordinating work, civil, structural and MEP disciplines
  • Field experience with observing construction progress and capable of providing construction administration services
  • Ability to clearly communicate with Clients and peers
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Diversified knowledge of architectural principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields
  • Project Management and Client management skills
  • Valid driver's license
