Job Description:  This position is contingent upon contract award.

This work will be performed in various locations: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Guam.


Perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
  • Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
  • Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
  • Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
  • Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
  • Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
  • May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
  • Perform miscellaneous quality assurance duties including inspections, inventory process checks, inspecting and examining materials, article inspections, etc.
  • Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

    Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

    Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel.

    Minimum Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent is desirable, and 3 years of material/supply functions, either in the military services on in commercial applications.
    • Knowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines.
    • Analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and to take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines.
    • Possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit. Position may require travel.
    • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
    • Must have a favorably completed National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) including a FBI fingerprint check prior to installation access.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) or Rapid Gate Pass if required.
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
    • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
    • Must be either a US citizen or a US permanent resident with a minimum of 3 years legal residency in the United States.
