Job Description:  AECOM is seeking an experienced strategic sales professional to assist in the development and leadership of our growth-focused Client Account Management (CAM) program. This position can be based in Los Angeles, New York or Austin and will partner with global leaders to implement strategies for organic growth along with leading an enterprise-wide, global team of Client Account Managers. Reporting to the Global Collaborative Selling Leader, will be responsible for driving and influencing organic growth across existing clients through:
  • Partnering with global CAM leadership to develop and execute program sales strategies.
  • Acting as a strategic partner to geography and business unit executive management to identify and win business with existing clients.
  • Managing a global team of Client Account Managers including identification and selection of talent, performance management and development, mentoring and coaching.
  • Collaborating with CAMs and business leaders to build short- and long-term growth and engagement plans for customers across business lines.
  • Monitoring trends in key performance indicators including CAM performance, client care scores, pipeline activities and client account opportunities/wins/losses to develop growth strategies, action plans and booking goals.
  • Providing business rationale and risk assessments for making AECOM investments in customer accounts through building strong business cases that crystallize value proposition.
  • Supporting the development of proposals in concert with the CAM, marketing and sales operations teams and resources from within AECOM.
  • Participating in preparation for client meetings and coaching CAMs/pitch teams in proposal delivery.
  • Identifying and building relationships with AECOM executives and company resources that can assist in the building and nurturing of client relationships across business lines/units and geographies.
This position can be located in Los Angeles, New York or Austin.
Minimum Requirements Requires 15 years industry-related and/or professional services experience in sales, business development, account management and leadership that includes:
  • A strong track record of leading business development and sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative, complex, global and diverse environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of consultative selling approaches.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of and/or willingness to quickly learn and adapt to AECOM's entire portfolio.
  • Related Bachelor's Degree.

This position can be located in Los Angeles, New York or Austin.

  • Salesforce CRM experience.
  • Advanced degree, such as an MBA..
