Purpose of role
To lead the insight, analytics and optimisation strategy across all EMEA online properties, supporting key stakeholders to drive traffic, sales and conversion.

Key Job Accountabilities
  • Full strategic ownership of the insight, analytics and optimisation strategy to cover the EMEA Zone
  • Lead and drive the strategy for testing, using in-house MVT tools following strict guidelines to gain progressive, statistically conclusive insight
  • Management of a team responsible for providing analytic reporting, insight and optimisation across the EMEA zone digital and e-commerce teams
  • Act as the Zone expert for web analytics and digital insight, developing and sharing international best practices and strategy
  • Key stakeholder in customer journey decisions through hands-on data, analytics and tool management
  • Head up methodologies and dashboards to optimise and disseminate data & insight
  • Responsible for construction of daily, weekly and monthly analytics report with complementary insight to enable trading and site managers to drive conversion
  • Improve funnel performance through the checkouts of all EMEA websites
  • To build a release plan to bring optimisations to the customer on a regular cadence
  • To construct an attribution framework in conjunction with International and Zone counterparts to help marketing teams optimise investments
  • To be the facilitator of all tagging requests and to see implementation through to completion and sign off by marketing teams
  • To champion the pursuit of analytics excellence across a team of digital experts
  • Management of 2 direct reports responsible for reporting and optimisation

What we look for:
  • Demonstrate scientist qualities: clarity, accuracy, precision, relevance, logic, fairness
  • Provide on-going knowledge of tracking and monitoring of performance of decision systems and statistical models.
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases, programming
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  • experience providing analysis to drive business decisions
  • experiencing influencing and educating stakeholders in a digital environment
  • Technical experience in and using web-analytics tools specifically Google Analytics Premium (and preferably Adobe Analytics), to make website decisions
  • experience using MVT / AB testing, personalisation or recommendations tools (i.e. monetate)
  • A knowledge of technical aspects of web analytics and the surrounded technology (search, affiliate, email, social, display, cookies, HTML, JavaScript, sessions)
  • A knowledge of, or experience working within, a media or digital agency environment
  • Understanding of eMarketing strategies and activity planning.
  • Experience driving change for E-Commerce improvements
  • strong understanding of web analytics methodologies ,tag strategy, planning, implementation and tagging guides
  • Experience in reporting automation as well as high level of skill in numerical and data analysis (SAP, heat maps, data manipulation on large databases)
