Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited university

PE License in Ohio or other state

Minimum 4 years of experience working on civil engineering projects

Related experience may include: development of engineering calculations/drawings, design, construction oversight, task management, technical report writing, specification writing, client interaction, proposal development, construction cost estimation, etc.

Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD with knowledge of Civil 3D

Must be able to produce and supervise the production of engineering/construction documents

Excellent oral and written communication skills required

Must have the demonstrated ability to work on and lead tasks for project engineering teams and communicate status/results to clients

Must be self-motivated and organized with a strong commitment to high quality work performance and mentoring of junior staff

Valid driver's license required

Job Description:

URS is seeking a motivated mid to senior level civil or environmental engineer for a leadership role assisting with the planning, evaluation, design and implementation of large-scale civil/environmental engineering projects as part of a project team. The successful candidate may work as both design engineer and task manager.

The successful candidate will work on design and construction projects related to the solid waste, power or industrial waste field. Projects will be performed under the direction of Project Managers in the Environmental Group.

This position involves technical writing, oral presentations and both working on and leading tasks with planning, design and construction teams.

Other duties as assigned.
