Wanted: Entry-Level Administrators to support Organizers and Advocates working to stop Global Warming, Ban Fracking, Protect Consumers, and Get Big Money out of Politics
The Public Interest Network includes some of the top public interest organizations in the country, including Environment America and U.S. PIRG. The advocates, organizers, and leaders of the organization are supported by a team of top notch administrators who assist with long-term planning and manage daily operations of the organization.
The Administrative team works provides operations support to groups nationwide. Responsibilities may include:
Candidates must be detail-oriented and highly organized, have a friendly and professional demeanor, be mature enough to manage confidential and/or sensitive information. Candidates must be comfortable working with computers and technology and specifically must be comfortable working with Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be excited by the idea of making social change and winning on issues.
Candidates for this position should have between one and three years of administrative experience. We value experience with nonprofit organizations and political campaigns. Candidates must be able to make a two-year commitment.
Salary and Benefits:
The target annual compensation for this position is $25,500 in the first year. The Public Interest Network offers a competitive benefits package. We also offer an excellent training program and opportunities for advancement.
