Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
5 years of job-related experience, including heavy construction and structural concrete work or similar fields.
Experience with TBM mining and pressurized face TBM's.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite 2000).
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Must obtain negative result on drug screen performed in accordance with URS drug testing policy. Job Description: This position is primarily based in the field and will require both shift and weekend work.
Supervise contractors activities in order to ensure Works are constructed safely and in accordance with contract documents, submitted construction work plans, safe work plans and other relevant documents.
Observe and document the quality of the contractors work.
Perform general and task-specific safety and environmental surveillance.
Track field changes.
Prepare work activities report for all shifts and prepare shift reports.
Track quality control records.
Identify potential coordination, quality and safety/environmental issues and raise appropriately.
Assist in the review of contract and shop drawings.
