Safety/Recordkeeping Specialist – Lynn, MA

The challenge? Help deliver safe, reliable and extremely competitive integrated facilities management services that focus on enhancing the life-cycle and performance output of our clients' assets. Our Health, Safety, and Environment jobs provide you with an opportunity to support the EHS Department on the OSHA Injury and Illness Recordkeeping Program and to provide consulting support on other occupational safety programs including but not limited to ergonomics, fall protection, electrical safety, material handling/cranes, and powered industrial vehicle program compliance. Each day, you will act as an interface between the EHS staff, medical center, and shop operations on these safety programs. Data entry, record maintenance including but not limited to the OSHA log, will be a critical part of this position. The position will also support the EHS staff during OSHA VPP audits, business level 3rd party audits and other site wide and business level EHS initiatives. You should be a self motivated professional with a minimum 2 years HSE experience and have a desire to grow personally, as well as professionally, with each Safety job.

Our Safety/Recordkeeping Specialists:


  • Must be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers and team members, detailed oriented, organized and be able to run multiple projects simultaneously

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, technical writing and verbal communication skills, and have the opportunity to lead large group presentations to discuss safety programs and other topics.

  • Act as client site liaison and filter for our client's Health Center and third-party medical providers.


  • Provide day-to-day client injury case management, including documentation, charting and reporting.


  • Work closely with client medical and worker compensation personnel, as well as client management teams (EHS, Business and Corporate teams).


  • Act as client knowledge bank and site expert for OSHA regulations, recordkeeping and compliance.


  • Communicate and make technical recommendations to upper EHS Management and ensure OSHA recordkeeping compliance.


  • Perform OSHA audits and reviews for client site.


  • Manage client Office Ergonomics Program, including conducting client office ergonomic workstation evaluations, recommending solutions to client, and, upon approval, procuring and facilitating placement of ergonomically correct equipment and office set-ups.


  • Make EHS compliance recommendations to client site Industrial Hygiene Office.


  • Conduct client Job Safety Analyses and ensuring client EHS compliance.


  • Function as consultant and client EHS team member and participate in client plant EH&S audits.



Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years safety experience including knowledge of OSHA regulations and other external regulatory agencies

  • BS in Safety or related field, or additional 4 years in lieu of degree.
