Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum B.S. in Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, or related field with at least 5 years related experience working with multi-disciplinary teams that include clients, consultants, and the regulatory community. Successful candidate must be able to work both independently and with a team. Experience in a variety of aquatic field investigation techniques, work plan development, geomorphological and ecological assessment. Experience in directing multidisciplinary teams is support of project manager, along with independent management of projects and reports required. Successful candidate must have experience and be able to effectively coach and manage team members in delivering high quality technical services to clients while meeting business objectives and fostering staff development. Strong skills in organization, communication, and technical writing required, along with experience in participation and management of technical field programs.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide direct support to management in leading team of scientists and engineers on complex, multidisciplinary projects that may include:

*Work Plan development, data collection and team management for aquatic investigations
*Assessment and management of contaminated environmental media
*Development of pilot programs to test remedial strategies
*Development of conceptual safety programs


It is essential that the successful candidate have proven experience in use of boats and other techniques necessary for the collection of field data in aquatic systems, as the ability to mentor and coach junior staff and to direct multi-disciplinary project teams. Successful candidate will play a key role in setting the tone for quality and safety in complex aquatic field programs.

This position will have constant and direct interaction with clients and regulators. Must have experience in these interactions and strong interpersonal skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills.
