Minimum Requirements: A Bachelors Level Degree in Engineering is required with a minimum of 10 years of rail design experience and at least 5 years of project management experience. A registered Professional Engineer with the ability to obtain registration in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Ability to do track design, familiar with Class I railroads, signalling systems and commuter rail and light rail operations. Job Description: This position will be part of the transit and railroads business line group that is based in the Hunt Valley, MD office. This group will be pursuing and completing rail transit planning, preliminary and final design studies throughout the Mid-Atlantic area. This position will involve the pursuit and management of rail transit engineering projects as well as support for rail transit planning projects. The successful candidate will identify project opportunities through interactions with potential clients, assist in the preparation of technical work proposals and cost estimates, manage rail transit design projects for clients, and provide rail transit design support for transit planning studies. The candidate will interact with both clients and other project managers to build credibility, trust and strong relationships that lead to ongoing project opportunities. EOE M/F/D/V |
