Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Minimum 10 years combined experience in Project and Program Management. Must have experience in school facility construction and renovation projects/programs and working experience with Primavera software programs.

Must be familiar with architectural and engineering design and construction processes.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must have valid drivers license.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of our Municipal School Program and Construction Management practice.

Responsibilities include: coordination with client management staff, Program Manager (PM), Design Manager (DM) and Construction Manager (CM) staff to develop a long-term Capital Plan and Annual Capital Plans as required; work closely with the Design Oversight Manager, DM and ADA Director to develop and recommend plans for complying with ADA Title II and the Illinois Accessibility Code and incorporate those plans in the overall strategic plan; coordinate with the Department of Demographics and Planning to develop an approach to long-term capital planning consistent with facilities objectives relative to structures which should be phased out of the client's facility portfolio; research and evaluate innovative approaches to overcoming financial constraints (i.e. PPP); perform program level assessments of facilities in support of the Chief Facilities Officer, office of new schools or office of school turnarounds; oversee the development of program level space analysis as required for potential school co-share assignments; provide special projects support at the request of the Chief Facilities Officer.

Candidate will work closely with senior management, the assessment field team, designers, construction managers, and will have regular interface with the client.
