Minimum 12 years experience in planning, permitting, compliance, monitoring, or auditing, with 3 years experience in FERC certification. Responsible for the growth, development and execution of URS’ Pipeline and LNG permitting, FERC licensing, environmental survey, and other environmental support practice for URS’ pipeline clients.
Primary accountabilities for this position would include:
Responsible for all gas and liquid pipeline environmental permitting opportunity development and execution efforts throughout URS’ Operations.
Lead a team of pipeline environmental professionals in the pursuit and development of small, mid cap and major Pipeline and LNG permitting opportunities with URS’ Energy Clients.
Develop relationships and establish and secure MSAs with new pipeline clients that meet URS’ risk profile and financial requirements.
Lead, as appropriate, primary proposal efforts to bid and win major project opportunities and on occasion serve as Senior Project Director, Manager or Senior Technical Advisor on Major LNG and/or Pipeline Permitting Projects.
Identify and hire key technical staff, as needed, to establish and grow a comprehensive Pipeline/LNG permitting and environmental team and practice.
Interface with URS’ Pipeline Leadership Team on a national basis to ensure a seamless service delivery team for our Pipeline and LNG Clients.
Maintain and develop relationships with FERC’s pipeline staff to ensure effective communications and obtain feedback on issues impacting URS and Industry as a whole.
Interface with URS’ Pipeline Engineering organization to promote, develop, and market an integrated environmental/engineering service offering for URS’ pipeline clients.
Work across pipeline geographic regions (e.g. Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Denver, San Diego) to support key clients on a national basis, as needed, to ensure a consistent delivery team and level of performance.
