Minimum Requirements: • BA/BS in environmental studies or related field • minimum 10 years project experience in environmental consulting, working for a multi-discipline office, CEQA/NEPA experience, California Energy Commission (CEC) permitting process • Must possess excellent working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project • experience with California Energy Commission (CEC) permitting process, preferably management, and preparing proposals for CEQA/NEPA projects a must • Highly self motivated, ability to multitask, perform detail oriented work, excellent oral/written communication, organizational skills a must, analytical skills a must. The Environmental Management Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Environmental Specialist for immediate employment in the San Diego office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in environmental permitting, CEQA/NEPA documentation.
